Good morning everyone,
Thank you for your valuable feedback.
Very good news accompanies the arrival of the French RIB at Helios. We are now working with more resistant materials for the production of our cards.
We are now offering a reinforced wooden card that will withstand all your daily adventures!
You can also choose the new recycled plastic card model, Aurore, which will make your impact shine with each payment.
Have a great day,
The helios team

Good morning,
Have you tried retification of wood. It is a pressurized heat treatment process only. No chemistry and it gives the wood dimensional stability and anti-rot. A French company does this near Morcenx in the Landes.

I would like a card that does not damage, why not imagine a lifelong card system that does not need to be replaced, made of recycled plastic from Carbios for example: p

Indeed, the wooden card is not the key criterion. Even so, recycled plastic is already too much waste. Plastic itself is not infinitely recyclable without losing quality as far as I know. Wood seemed like a good idea, especially when you know that it only takes one tree to make 300,000 cards if I remember correctly. The benefit/disadvantage seems to be in favor of wood. Maybe there's a way to make it better, but there's no easy fix. The varnish is not the ultimate biodegradable level, the plastic the same problem. Documentation should be done to shed light on the debate.
