Biodiversity loss is primarily caused by habitat loss. In addition to the loss of ecosystem services (e.g. treatment of water in a wetland, carbon sinks), the artificialization of soils is a plague. Let's not fund any projects that contribute to it. For example, a photovoltaic power plant covering an existing car park, why not. A photovoltaic power plant on agricultural or natural land is nonsense.
